The White Barn Inn, an upscale and renowned hotel in the charming town of Kennebunk, is home to two exceptional restaurants: Little Barn and White Barn. We highly recommend Little Barn for its delightful farm-to-table cuisine, boasting a casual and inviting atmosphere that appeals to the whole family. Our dining experiences there have been nothing short of wonderful, with delicious meals that leave a lasting impression.
On the other hand, White Barn presents a more upscale fine dining experience, accompanied by a higher price point and acclaimed award-winning dishes. While the food is undoubtedly fantastic, it’s worth noting that the service has been somewhat lacking in our personal encounters. Considering the steep price of over $200 per person, we believe White Barn falls short of justifying the investment (in our humble opinion).
To ensure a table at either restaurant, it is advisable to make reservations in advance. As a little tip, we suggest arriving early and taking the opportunity to relax in the cozy living room located behind the front desk. Indulge in a refreshing cocktail or a glass of wine while engaging in a friendly game of scrabble or chess. It’s a delightful way to kickstart a memorable dining experience at the White Barn Inn.
